| Mufti security threat, alleges Bhim | | Stop vicious campaign or face consequences. JKNPP to PDP | |
Jammu June 27- ‘Saying that Mufti Mohammed Sayeed Patron PDP, a major partner of the ruling coalition in the state has become a security threat in view of his recent statement challenging the State’s accession with the Union of India’, Prof Bhim Singh, Chairman National Panthers Party, has asked the Congress leadership to clear its stand. Congress leadership owes an explanation for protecting and aligning with a party which has launched a hate campaign against the Army and preaching secession while enjoining the full confidence of the Congress leadership, he added. In a statement issued here today Prof Singh has warned of serious consequences in case the Mufti and his party did not stop this vicious campaign, which he intends to revive and promote the interest of Jamait-i-Islami at the cost of national integration and sovereignty. He also wondered how the electronic media including AIR and DD is actively projecting the anti-national agenda of the PDP. The NPP Chief has called upon the people of the state, particularly the youth; to be aware of the dangerous agenda of the Mufti and his party and the double role he has playing with the Kashmiris right since 1972. Leveling serious charges against Mufti, NPP Chief said that it was he (Mufti) who as PCC President surrendered six seats in the Assembly to Jammat and helped to create MUF to outwit national parties in the state in 1987. Mufti, as Union Home Minister, also got five militants released from the jail in exchange of his daughter from the so-called kidnappers, Bhim Singh alleged. Prof Singh wondered that on the one side his (Mufti’s) daughter signed proposal form of the Congress candidate in the presidential poll and on the other the Mufti has asked India to remove the Army from Kashmir and even challenged the accession with the Indian Union. He has appealed the people to expose and defeat such elements, which have been exploiting the Kashmiris and working for destabilizing India.
