| Unemployed ITI Electricians organize protest rally | | | Jammu June 27— The protest demonstration by the unemployed ITI electricians in support of their demands continued on the 80th day here today. The agitating unemployed today took out a protest rally, in which around 500 ITI diploma holders took part. The rally, after passing through several bazaars, raising anti-government slogans, culminated at Kachi Chowni. Rakesh Sharma, Chairman of the Association alleged that the government was not sincere in conceding their demand and expressed the hope that the government would rise to the occasion and take early decision to redress the just and genuine demand of the striking unemployed.
Sharma warned to take resource to other means if the demands were not met within next 15 days. The Chairman has also appealed to the presidents of all ITI colleges to observe pen-down strike on June 29 in support of the demands of the unemployed ITI electrical diploma holders.
