Three family members among four hit by a VIP vehicle

Three members of a family got serious injuries when a VIP vehicle hit them badly at Kathua and were admitted in Government Medical College Hospital here for treatment. According to reports three persons namely 44-year Vimla Devi wife of Rishi Ram resident of Gurju Nagrota and her two children 22-year daughter Lakshmi Devi and 9-year son Sandeep Kumar and Rakesh Kumar son of Shanker Dass resident of Patyari suffered serious injuries when hit by a VIP vehicle at Kathua today. The driver of the vehicle fled way from the site.
The locals who rushed to the spot took the injured to Kathua hospital where doctors after giving first aid referred them to GMC for specialized treatment. The condition of all the injured is reported to be out of danger, when last reports came in.
Police has not registered any case in this regard as the vehicle belonged to a VIP person, the sources added.
Meanwhile in another accident, one Sachin Kumar also got serious injuries at Kathua and he was admitted in Kathua hospital for treatment.
