J&K Truck Union apprises MLC about poor, dilapidated condition of roads 6/9/2015 12:08:41 AM Early Times Report Jammu, June 8: Jammu and Kashmir Member Legislative Council (MLC) Charanjit Singh Khalsa today met a deputation of J&K Truck Union, Railway Station Jammu. According to press release, the deputation was led by its Chairman Nazir Ahmed and president, S. Manmohan Singh. The deputation apprised the MLC about poor and dilapidated condition of roads and said that people in the area and especially road users and traders are facing great difficulties in carrying on their routine work in the given conditions. The deputation also apprised S.Charanjit Singh Khalsa that an estimate for construction of this road was also got prepared from the department but its fate is not known. They said that it's been years since this road has not been repaired. Charanjit Singh Khalsa along with union leaders later visited the spot and took stock on prevailing conditions.
