| 3 die, seven injured across Kashmir Valley | | | Srinagar, June 27 At least three persons died and seven others were injured in separate incidents, while two labourers committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance across Kashmir Valley, since last 24 hours. Police said that a Maruti Car - JK01H-0275 - hit a Mobile Cement Mixer Rider at Iqbal Colony National Highway near CRPF Camp injuring seven persons including Maruti Car driver. While all the injured persons were hospitalized, one of the injured labourers identified as Athar Alam son of Abdul Lateen of Nijgama, Bihar succumbed to his injuries in hospital. A person identified as Ali Mohammad Rasray 55 son of Sonaullah of Dadaompora Chadoora died when a Pillar of Main Gate of PHE Dadaompora fell down upon him. Shiv Kumar son of Chakoot Chowdery of Kishi Nagar, UP who was hit and injured by an over speedy Tipper at Hyder pora on succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS Soura, today. An official spokesman said that a Tractor, JK01-2775, hit and injured a Motorcyclist, Fasal Ahmad Ganie of Meemender Shopian near Songulla Bridge, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Shopian. The injured was rushed to Bone and Joint Hospital Barzulla, Srinagar. Meanwhile, two persons including a girl tried to end their lives by consuming poisonous substance at their residents. They have been identified as Ulfat 22, daughter of Farooq Ahmad of Buchwara Dalgate and Sajad Ahmad (19) son of Ghulam Hassan Bhat of Firdous-abad Batmaloo. Both of them were admitted in SMHS Srinagar, where their condition was stated to be critical.
