| RJD condemns molestation of a teenaged girl in Bandipora | | | Jammu | June 29 State Rastiriya Janta Dal (RJD) has strongly condemned the alleged molestation of teenaged poor Gujjar girl by Security Forces in a village of Bandipora district. State President (RJD) Syed Ghilan Nabi Ferah at a party meeting here today said that slogans like ‘Khushal Kashmir’ and ‘zero tolerance’ has no meaning if the Human Rights abuses continue unabated by the security forces. Unfortunately not only the army and para military forces but some ‘state police personnel’ have been found involved in human rights abuses, he added. Forah cautioned the state government to respect the aspirations of the people and recommend withdrawal of J&K Disturbed Area Act and Armed Forces Special Powers Act which have provided discretionary powers to the security forces to abuse human rights. Others who attended the meeting included Dharampal, Naresh Kumar Vijay Mahajan and Vivek Gupta.
