Three-day National Integration Camp begins at Sudhmahadev

The 30th National Integration-cum- Awareness Camp, organized by J&K National Panthers Party, was inaugurated by Prof. Bhim Singh, Chairman of National Panthers Party and Member, National Integration Council (NIC) here today.
The three- day camp is being attended by thousands of people from all over the state and neighboring Punjab and Himachal Pradesh states.
Sudhmahadev, a religious place, has the oldest ‘Shivalingam’ and ancient ‘Shiva Temple’ with thousands of years’ old ‘Trishul’ stuck to the grounds by Lord Shiva after he killed Sudha Rakshas.
Prof. Bhim in his message congratulated the people of Jammu and Kashmir for standing united during the 17 year long terrorism sponsored by Pakistan and making great sacrifices to strengthen National Integration and secularism. He also commended the role of the Army in defending the territory and protecting the lives and properties of the citizens.
The Chief Guest on the occasion Harsh Dev Singh, appealed the people of the state to strengthen the bonds of National Integration, secularism and brotherhood for the equitable development of all the regions of the state. He regretted that the present government had failed to appoint Delimitation Commission and to address the problem of unemployment particularly amongst the professionally trained youth.
While hoisting national flag at Sudhmahadev, 5000 Panthers Party activists pledged to defend the people from terrorists and expressed solidarity with the Army and the security forces in their battle against terrorists, fundamentalists and anti-national elements, aided and abetted from across the borders. They also pledged to strengthen peace process between India and Pakistan.
Others who addressed the camp included Yashpal Kundal, Faqir Nath, MLAs, S. Daljit Singh, General Secretary, H.C. Jhalmeria, State Secretary and Ms. Anita Thakur, General Secretary.
