| JSSM holds protest at JU | | |
Jammu | June 29:
The activists of Jammu State Students Morcha (JSSM) held a protest demonstration outside the office of the Controller Examination of University of Jammu (JU) here today for its alleged failure in timely declaration of the results.
The protesting students led by Sunil Sharma raised slogans against the University administration. Alleging total failure, protestors demanded immediate declaration of all the results (including re-evaluation), which were delayed considerably. They also sought the provision of re-evaluation in the engineering examination on the pattern of other examinations.
Meanwhile, Controller Examinations, Prof Deshbandhu when contacted, informed that there is provision only for re-checking in engineering examinations, as supplementary is being held for them as such there is no need for re-evaluation.
