| SSH demands adequate facilities for Amarnath pilgrims | | | Jammu | June 30 The state unit of Shiv Sena Hindustan (SSH) president Dimple Kohli has leveled serious charges against the chairman of Shri Amarnath Board and State Governor Lt. Gen (retd) S.K. Sinha for inadequate facilities being provided to the pilgrims. As a protest Kohli took led a procession, which passed through various parts of the city was joined by large number of yatriees and Sadhus and shouted slogans against the Board protestors also burnt effigy of governor. Addressing the protestors Kohli said, that the registration process started at Pahalgam shows that the Govt. always want to give priority to Kashmiris neglecting people of other religions. He said that it is a matter of shame for Hindu Organizations that pilgrims have to resort to agitation very first day of Yatra, proves that Govt. have failed to provide adequate facilities to them. He said that those going on HAJ are be given subsidies by the Govt. while Hindu pilgrims have to pay taxes. State vice president, Rajesh kesri on the occasion said that a permanent base camp be erected at Bhagwati Nagar, where board has got 200 kanal of land.
