Namrata Sharma, Congress Corporator from Sainik Colony has been selected for this years ‘Rashtriya Gaurav Award’ by Indian international Friendship Society (IIFS).
The Award along with certificate of excellence will be presented to her at New Delhi at a function slated to be held on July 7.
IIFS is India’s leading voluntary organization credited with useful socio economic existence nationally and internationally, besides a strong votary of the economic existence. It also stands as a champion in the vital area of forging friendships between the individuals, corporate, regions and nations while peace, progress and prosperity of the global community has been its cherished objective, a hand out said.
Namrata, has recently returned from a month long tour from US on the invitation of Department of State, to participate in debates of different foras on women leadership and empowerment.
She became the youngest Corporator of Jammu Municipal Corporation at the age of 30 years.
