| Sahib Singh’s demise condoled | | |

Various political parties and NGOs have condoled the death of Dr.Sahib Singh Verma, former Chief Minister of Delhi, who died in a tragic accident today.
Chairman National Panthers Party, Prof. Bhim Singh has expressed deep shock and grief over the sudden demise of Sahib Singh Verma. In a statement issued from Sudhmahadev in Udhampur District of Jammu and Kashmir, he said Sahib Singh’s death is an irreparable loss for the entire country.
A two minute silence for the peace of the departed soul was observed by the Panthers workers at the camp and prayed to Almighty to give strength to the family member to bear the loss caused by sudden demise.
In the meantime the Jat Kalyan Sabha in a hurriedly called meeting of its executive members has also condoled the untimely demise of Dr Singh, Chairman All Wrold Arya Jat Foundation and National Vice President BJP.
The condolence meeting presided over by Ch..Kamal Singh President of the Sabha recalled the contributions of Dr Verma for upliftment of down trodden people especially the Jat community. ‘The vacuum created due to his sudden death is difficult to be filled in’ Singh added.
Youth leader of the Sabha Ch.Surinder Singh who also spoke at the condolence meeting recalled the role of Dr.Verma for trying OBC status for Jats in Jammu and Kashmir and said that the people especially the Jat community can not forget the good works done by the late leader for the people of the state.
Among others who paid homage to the departed leader were Dr.Girdhari Lal, Ch.Sukhnandan, Ch.Vikram Randhawa, Avtar Singh Khalsa, Charan Singh, Babu Ram, Rajinder Bhatti, Dharam Singh, Harbans Lal, Natha Ram. Darshan Singh, Sampuran Singh, Bhupinder Singh, Vijay Choudhary, Rakesh and Sham Lal.
