| Tax Bar Association welcomes extension of amnesty scheme | | |

Executive members of Tax Bar Association, in a meeting held under the chairmanship Rattan Lal Gupta advocate president Tax Bar Association has welcomed the decision of the finance department for extending the time limit of amnesty scheme under SRO 173.
In a press statement issued here today, the publicity secretary of the said association stated that the association expresses gratitude towards the concerned department for considering the view points of the association. The members also thanked the Commissioner Commercial Taxes Bashir Ahmed Khawaja for pursuing the case taken up by the Tax Bar Association.
Maintaining further the members stated that with this extension will bring the limit of the filing documents at par with SRO 172 issued along with this initiative will prove benefit for Industrialists of the state.
The members have urged the government to also consider the genuine demands of the Tax Bar Association for the benefit of the trading community in the state.
