To honour and encourage the meritorious students of Brahman Community, securing 80 to 93 % marks in class 10th and 12th, in recently declared results of Board examination, a function was held here today.
President Dogra Pratanihdi Brahman Sabha, Dev Raj Baru presented mementoes, certificates and cash awards to the meritorious students at a function held at the Sabha office here today.
Those honoured included Anil Sharma, Miss Shikha Sharma, Anurag Sharma, Shivani Sharma, Akshay Sharma, Poonam Sharma, Amit Soodan, Anil Sharma, Akash Sharma, Abhishek Sharma, Banu Priya, Ritu Sharma, Devinder Sharma, Rashmi Sharma, Amit Raina, Sandeep Kumar and Anu Priya.
Dev Raj hailed the efforts of the Sabha and suggested that this practice of encouraging the meritorious students of the community should continue in future also.
