| Mangat Ram fan of BIG 92.7 FM | | Sharma urges for putting up health related programs on air | | Jammu | July 1 Admitting that he was a fan of BIG 92.7 FM, the Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Health and Medical Education and veteran Congress leader Pt. Mangat Ram Sharma impressed the need for putting up health based programs on the channel for creating awareness among the general public. In an interview with the FM channel on the occasion of the World Doctors Day, Mangat Ram enumerated the measures being taken by the government to upgrade the health facilities in the state and said that a super specialty hospital on the pattern of All India Institute of Medical Sciences New Delhi is coming up at Jammu. He said this ambitious project would be completed in a record time of two years. He disclosed that setting up of emergency hospitals on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway is also on cards and work on these is expected to be taken up shortly. The funds for the purpose have been sanctioned by the Centre. The one hour show, hosted by famous Radio Jockey ‘Nazrana’ was aired between 12 noon to 1 Pm. Sharma advised people to be health conscious and take immediate advice of the doctors as and when required. He also advised the youngsters to take their meals regularly to enjoy good health. Making a mention that he is a big fan of BIG 92.7 FM and enjoys its music, the Health Minister appreciated the way in which Jockies are entertaining Jammuties in a “big way”.
