Fire in Purkhoo Camp

A migrant quarter gutted in a fire at Purkhoo camp here this morning. The fire is reported to have caused due to the leakage of gas cylinder. However, there was no loss of life.
The reports said that quarter NO 348 at Purkhoo camp was damaged in a fire which broke out in the morning hours following leakage of gas cylinder causing damage to the household goods.
According to the witnesses the one room tenement of a KP migrant, Sham Lal, caught fire following gas leakage and while extinguishing the fire, Ratna Devi daughter of Sham Lal sustained burn injuries. She was immediately rushed to the hospital where doctors provided her medical treatment and is reportedly out of danger..
The reports said the fire tenders reached the spot and extinguished the fire before it could engulf the adjacent quarters. However, the loss of the property has not been ascertained yet.
