Two absconding bovine smugglers arrested

Sidhra police today arrested two bovine smugglers who were absconding and evading arrest for some time.
The bovine smugglers identified as Abdul Rashid and Ghulam Ahmed, both residents of Sidhra, during route checking of the vehicle had hit a constable on duty causing serious injuries on his body. During the checking the Police stopped the vehicle carrying bovine to Kashmir valley and in the process the vehicle hit Vipin Kumar a cop after breaking the naka resulting serious injuries to him. The truck along with the bovine smugglers fled away from the spot. After a hot chase, the police succeeded in seizing the truck along with 11 bovine being smuggled to Kashmir Valley. However, the smugglers managed to escape from the spot and the police was on a regular hunt to nab the absconding smugglers.
After registering a case, the police launched a massive search operation in an around Sidhra and succeeded in apprehending both the absconding smugglers today and started investigations.
