| Cop killed, two injured in accident | | |

One police constable died on spot and two other got serious injuries in two separate road accidents in the city and outskirts. According to reports Nanak Singh No 405/RBN was hit by a tanker No JK05/5699 at Batote and died on spot when he was crossing the road, after the accident police took the body to hospital for postmortem and also registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter. Meanwhile in another accident one Priya daughter of Subash Chander resident of Jhajjar Kotli was hit by a Maruti car at Jhajjhar Kotli and Brita Ram son of Ram Ditta resident of Pargwal also hit by a maruti car in Pargwal area and they were admitted in GMC for treatment.
