Usman visits constituency, meets people

Srinagar, August 10 –Maintaining that the peace is essential for development of various sectors in the state, Member legislative Assembly, Bandipora Mr. Usman Majid has called upon the people to extend full cooperation to the government realizing the dream of and Khushal Jammu and Kashmir.
Mr. Usman Majid was on two days tour to his constituency during which he addressed people at various places. He said that the government has taken various development projects in the state adding that these projects have been taken in hand in double shift system as per the directions of the Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad. He said that the government has launched several welfare schemes and asked the people to take benefits from these schemes.
During his tour, the MLA took stock of works under execution and heard problems of the people. The areas he visited included Watlab, Dachigam, Ownahgam, Malangam and Garoora.
Mr. Usman appealed the government to take immediate steps for reconstruction of damaged bridge at Papichan which was recently washed away by flashing floods. He said this link is of great importance for in habitants of the catchment area.
He also visited Peer Baba Nanga Baji Sahib and paid obeisance their.
Mr. Usman asked the Intizamia Committee of the Zariet Sharief to formulate a comprehensive project for the development of the park near the Zariet Sharief and construction of bath rooms so that the funds would be released accordingly for the purpose and the problems faced by the devotees can be solved.
The committee putforth some demands to the MLA including regular bus services of SRTC from Spore to Malangam.
Later, the MLA visited residences of late Ali Mohammad Bhat, Sub Inspector and Mr. Gul Sahib to express their sympathies to their families.
Enroute, several deputations met the MLA and confronted him about their grievances. He assured them that their genuine demands can be solved in a phased manner.
