Jammu July 4- To apprise people about the policies and objectives of the Bahujan Samaj Party, several senior leaders of the party had an extensive tour of Udhampur, Doda and Kishtwar districts. The team led by the party state vice president Tulsi Dass Langeh addressed series of public meeting and interacted with the people and apprised them about the policies and programmes of the party. Addressing meetings at Sudhmahadev, Doda. Kashrian, Begana, Sangram Bhatta, Kishtwar, Drabshalla and Thathri, the party leaders reiterated their commitment to work the equality, liberty and fraternity as envisioned by Baba Sahib, Dr B R Ambedkhar father of Indian Constitution. The locals highlighted the problems relating to construction of hostels at district level for SC/ ST and OBC students, restoration of backlog funds received under special component, adopting of proper roaster system in appointments for the weaker section, provision of staff and medicines for the accidental hospital Thathri besides amending SRO 294. Those who accompanied Lengeh during the tour were D R Atri, Kapoor Chand, B L Raina, Puran Chand, Captain Dewan Chand, Khullar and Krishan Lal Bhagat.
