| Taken a back: Miscreants cultivate on Road stretch, DE to register FIR | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 9: Believe it or not, some miscreants have not only challenged the people but also to the Public Works Department (PWD) authorities virtually when they cultivated a land spread of 400 mts which was a road under the jurisdiction PWD Nowshera. Meanwhile Divisional Engineer (DE) Nowshera has directed his official to lodge FIR against miscreants, accordingly.
As per sources, some miscreants daring the concerned authorities have cultivated 400 meter of road stretch in Varnara village in Rajouri district which resulted great inconvenience to the commuters.
"If it was the lackadaisical approach of the officials at the helms of affairs or the influence of the some locals who dared to cultivate on government land fearlessly but the innocent commuters were forced to face the burnt as they have to make their at their own, sources added.
As per reports, some miscreants not only damaged 400 meter road stretch in village Varnara in Sunderbani, Rajouri but also cultivated the road stretch.
Sources said the matter was taken to the Divisional Engineer (DE) PWD Nowshera Parvez Iqbal immediately directed concerned JE and AEE to visit the spot to assess the ground situation and submit detailed report in this regard. He also had asked the concerned officials to lodge an FIR against miscreants, accordingly at the concerned Police station. |
