| Special Tribunal sets aside directions of Director Land Records | | | Jammu July 5 The Jammu and Kashmir Special Tribunal Jammu in its decisions has set aside the directions of the Director, Land Records, Jammu, regarding the case pertaining to a land dispute; showing the respondent not "a hissedar’ in respect of land bearing Khasra No.625 of village Nagrota. Further the tribunal described the entry showing the respondent "Co-sharer" made in the register of Khasra Girdawri in 1970 as infructuous & fabricated, is upheld and restored. According to the report D K Kapoor, KCS(Jud) Member in a decision to the case instituted on 16/04/2004 gave its decision on 28 June 2007 setting aside the impugned order of Director Land Records Jammu dated 29/11/03 and that of the Assistant Settlement Officer Jammu dated 30/11/2000 stating that the respondent is not ‘hissedar’ in respect of the land of Khasra no 625 in Nagrota. It is to mention Tej Ram S/o Kundi R/o Nagrota, Tehsil Jammu had filed a petition against Narinder Kumar, Vijay Kumar both sons of deceased Shiv Nath, Kanta Devi widow of the deceased and his daughter Veena Devi. K K Jandyal advocate appeared on the behalf of the petitioner while S. Budhi Singh advocate for the respondent. He member also observed that the consequent entry showing respondent as "Co-sharer" made in the register of Khasra Girdawri in 1970 as infructuous & fabricated, is upheld and restored.
