2 more yatris die, toll touches nine

Srinagar, July 12: Two more Amarnath pilgrims from Punjab and Madhya Pradesh died, taking the toll to nine since the commencement of the 59-day-long pilgrimage from July 2. A yatra official said that a 37-year-old Giosha Singh, resident of 123 Kaith Majogi Mohalla, Ambala city, Punjab, suffered a massive heart attack at Zojibal. He was rushed to medical camp, where he was declared brought dead. Another yatri, identified as Dani Ram Sahoo, resident of 3/31 Sarvi Colony Chond Bagh, Bhopal, MP, died due to cardiac arrest at Brarimarg.
