| JJYF demands tehsil status for Gura Salathian | | |

Jammu Joint Youth’s Federation (JJYF) in a meeting held under the chairmanship of its President Bhupinder Singh has demanded grant of Tehsil status to Gura Salathian.
The meeting was of the view that Gura Salathian area having 35 villages in its fold, with historical background, deserves to be given the tehsil status.
The participants at the meeting impressed upon the government to consider this demand of the Federation as it will relieve the inhabitants of these areas from great hardships.
The meeting among others was attended by Bachan Lal, Sohan Singh, Baldev Singh, Dilbagh Singh, Ram Lal Bhagat and Suraj Chalotra.
