One militant, two OGWs arrested

Jammu | July 6
Doda police today arrested one LeT militant and its two Over Ground Workers (OGW), including a Naib Sarpanch of area, on specific information while making transaction of Arms, Ammunitions and huge quantity of Hawala money.
According to reports, after getting information SHO police station Doda, Ashwani Kumar Sharma and 10 RR apprehended two OGWs and one militant of LeT outfit from Parmaz Doda and recovered Rs.1. 97 lakh Indian currency, as Hawala money and Arms and ammunitions from their possessions.
The arrested LeT militant has been identified as Bashir Ahmed Banday @ Bilal son Mohammed Akbar Banday resident of Bagla Bharar.
According to police Bashir Ahmed was an active militant of Harkat-Ul-Ansar outfit earlier and had surrendered in 1996. Later rejoined the LeT outfit
The OGWs arrested have been identified as Jamal Din Mugal son of Mohammed Abdullah Mughal, naib sarpanch and Fareed Ahmed Chopan son of Habibullah Chopan both resident of Maha Kund Tehsil Gool Ramban.
Police have also recovered three Chinese hand grenades, RDX and detonators fitted with wire from their possession.
