| Two militants killed in encounter, jawan injured | | |
Jammu | July 6
Two militants were gunned down in an encounter at Gujjarpur Chatroo in Kishtwar district today while a jawan sustained injuries.
According to reports acting on specific information about the presence of ultras in the area, the 11 Rashtriya Rifles (DOGRA) launched a search operation leading to an encounter between the forces and the ultras.
In the ensuing gun fight which lasted for some time both the holed up militants were gunned down while a jawan also suffered injuries.
The identity of the slain militants have not been ascertained so far .Sep Satish Kumar who suffered gun shot during the encounter was evacuated to Military Hospital, Udhampur.
