| Cong leaders hail Azad for development | | | Jammu July 7 Ex MLA Nagrota and general secretary PCC Shiv Dev Singh today hailed the chief minister Ghulam Nabi Azad for the development and equity among the three regions of the state to end the alleged discrimination and to come true to the expectations of the people. Addressing a series of public meetings at Chalana, Surisar, Sangar , Chila, Sagon and Aitham falling under Nagrota assembly segment, Singh said that Congress led coalition under the able and dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has come true to the expectations and aspirations of the people of state. He said that Azad led coalition has also kept the balance in the regional development and also by implementing various commitments and assurances in the election manifesto of the party including those highlighted in the Common Minimum Programme (CMP) as agreed by the coalition in 2002. He also mentioned that Azad led coalition set priorities to start development from the rural areas to bridge the rural- urban divide and to upgrade the education, health, safe drinking water and other basic facilities to the people of state especially in rural areas. Highlighting the demands of the local population, the Congress leader demanded Primary health Centre at Surisar and flood safety/soil conservation crates at Shiba, Bamyal, Marh Drabi, Kerry, Sarote, Mehra and Dabbar. Ram Rattan Sharma block president Dansal and other senior leaders of the party also addressed the gathering on this occasion.
