| BJP constitutes Action Plan Committee to chalk out agitation program | | | Jammu June 7 State unit of the BJP accorded warm welcome to the newly appointed zonal organizing secretary of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Chandigarh on his arrival to the winter capital here today. Immediately after his arrival, he held a meeting with the senior functionaries of the party and discussed the prevailing political situation in the state. The meeting was among others attended by the party president Ashok Khajuria, Prof Chaman Lal Gupta former Union Minister, former party president, Nirmal Singh and office bearers of the party. The meeting while deliberating upon the working of the coalition government was of the view that the government has proved failure on various fronts and BJP should approach common masses with a mood to agitate on the issues affecting the general public. It was further decided that booth level committees would be formed and the party should get itself prepared for coming elections which can take place any time due to the infighting between the ruling coalition partners. Ashok Khajuria on this occasion announced a high level’ Action Plan Committee’ with Dr. Nirmal Singh as its convenor to talk out agitation programs to fully expose the failures of the government The other members of the committee would be state vice president Chander Prakash Ganga, Shamsher Singh and Bali Bhagat general secretaries, Romesh Arora spokesperson and party MLA Jugal Kishore.
