| Muslims organize protest demonstration against Salman Reshdi | | | DODA, JULY 7
Thousands of the angry people of the Muslim community staged a protest demonstration outside the historical Mosque at Bhaderwah against the British government and Salman Reshdi who wrote a book satanic verses against the Islam and the British Queen Elizabeth awarded him with the title of Sir.
The protestors led by the Anjuman Islamia Bhaderwah and Majlis Khatama Nabut Bhaderwah lashed out the British Queen and government for giving the title of Sir to Salman Reshdi and adding that the whole Muslim community strongly demands that he should be hanged to death for hurting the sentiments of the community..
The protestors blocked the main Bhaderwah road for two hours and also burnt the effigy of the Salman Reshdi and Queen Elizabeth and demanded impressed upon the British government to revoke the title of Sir on Reshdi as he is involved in using wrong remarks against the holly Quroon and Prophet Mohammad in his book.
The demonstrators were addressed by Molvi Zuber Ahmed, Molvi Javed Shorra Abdul Hafeez Khateeb and Ghulam Nabi Ganai and warned the British government of serious consequences if it failed to revoke the order of giving the title of Sir to Reshdi, who according to them is anti-Muslim and Anti-Islam element
