| Ghachar Cricket Club thrashes Mendhar Public school | | | Jammu | July 7
Ghachar Cricket Club defeated the Mendhar Public School team in the finals of the operation Sadbhavana Mendhar Open Cricket Tournament.
Mendhar Public School after winning the toss elected to bat first and made 132 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. But the Ghachar Cricket Club won the tournament by making the runs in stipulated overs.
Brigadier Gurdeep Singh, commander Krishna Ghati Brigade, the chief guest on the occasion and distributed attractive prizes to the players, winners and runners up of the match. Addressing the large gathering , Brigadier Gurdeep Singh complimented all the teams for their enthusiasm in participating in the tournament .The civilian dignitaries present included SDM Mendhar, SDPO Mendhar , DEO and principals of the school and colleges.
