| Army neutralize IED, busted hideout | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

The road opening column of 23 Rashtriya Rifles neutralized an IED hidden under a culvert kept in Gunny bag on national highway 1-A near Banihal in district Doda here today. The security forces have launched a massive hunt to nab the culprits in the area.
In another incident, on a specific information security forces busted a hideout found in a trunk of tree in the forest in Zaban area about 8.5 km North West of Banihal town. During search 17 rods of AK ammunition, four AK magazine, one bayonet, 132 rounds of 9 mm ammunitiaon, 120 mm mortar shells, three UBGL grenades, 11 detonators 2 RPG shells, one tele instrument and letter pad of H.M. from the hideout.
Meanwhile, security forces on specific information busted a hideout at Balona nallah in tehsil Mendhar of district Poonch and recovered large cache of arms and ammunition. The arms recovered are four AK-56 riffles, 8 magazines, 240 rounds of AK-47, five pistol rounds, one radio set with a tenna. IED two, UVGL 20, 291, chines grenade and other 20 grenades.
