| Man found dead, another drowns in Jhelum | | | Srinagar, July 7
A middle aged businessman from Punjab was found dead in suspicious circumstances in his room at Kralpora in frontier district of Kupwara in North Kashmir, while a teenaged boy drowned in river Jhelum near Drangbal Baramulla.
Police sources said that one Jaspal Singh, son of Nirmal Singh, resident of Amritsar Punjab who was presently running a shop at Bazar Kralpora was found dead in his room in suspicious circumstances.
He was found dead when a neighbour come to meet him early this morning. Police has initiated proceedings under section 174 CrPC.
Meanwhile, one Shahid Ahmad Gojri 15, son of Rehman Gojri, resident of Drangbal Baramulla slipped into river Jhelum and died. Efforts are on to trace the dead body.
