| Remove DC Jammu Accountability commission to government | | | Jammu, August 10 : The state accountability commission in a case of illegal occupation of land today directed the state government for immediate transfer of deputy commissioner Jammu.
In its order passed today state accountability commission took serious note of non compliance of its order by the deputy commissioner Jammu and directed his immediate removal from his present place of posting.
The order said “Taking serious note of the non-compliance by the deputy commissioner to the directions of the divisional commissioner, his immediate superior officer, and also the orders of the state accountability commission, the commission has observed that the chief secretary shall consider the desirability of removal of the deputy commissioner from his present place of posting, who appears to be the indifferent to the direction of the superior officers and negligent to his duties”
Sources in accountability commission said that in a serious allegation of grabbing a portion of state land measuring 58-kanal 12 Marla allotted to Kendriya vidalaya Gandhi Nagar, the state accountability commission directed the Divisional commissioner Jammu to ascertain the factual and legal status of the encroached land and take effective steps for removing the encroachment in order to redress the grievance of the complaint.
Sources further said that the divisional commissioner in compliance with the direction of the commission, directed the deputy commissioner Jammu to take effective measures, and ensure implementation of the order of the state accountability commission and submit compliance report. |
