| ABVP organises 58th foundation day | | |
Jammu | July 9: Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) today celebrated its 58th
Foundation day here today. Ved Parkash Chauhan, Principal Oriental Academy was the chief guest while the National Secretary of the ABVP Shri Nivas was the guest of honor on the ocasssion.
The function started with "Parishad Geet" followed by the briefing of ABVP unit. Speaking on the occasion National Executive member of ABVP, Suresh Magotra echoed the ideals of Parishad and said that main aim of Parishad is to inculcate the basic instincts among the student community to love their country and share responsibilities towards the motherland. Reiterating the slogan of ABVP he added that the need of the hour is to crop up and motivate them under proper guidance.
Praising the initiative of ABVP Ved Parkash Chauhan said that the way ABVP has conducted various activities in developing the student carrier is praise worthy. He also congratulated the ABVP activists on its foundation day.
While addressing students, he guided students to get united to fight against emerging social evils in the society. He said while keeping their character and discipline in their personality, the students should play vital role in the society for making the nation strong and integrated. He said the students are not the citizens of tomorrow but also the citizens of today.
Others members of the ABVP presented on the occasion included Ramesh Papa North Zone Organizing Secretary, Prof. Naresh Padha HOD Physics, Dr. Nirmal Singh, Prof. Parminder Singh, Megha Gupta, Suhasni Vashisth, Rahul Sharma, Ajay Sharma, Vishal Mahajan and Prithvi Raj Singh .
