If intelligence sources are to be believed, a Hindu boy has been hired by LeT Cadre in the district Doda to undertake grenade attacks on the religious places and Yatra so that terrorist can show their presence in the area.
According to the intelligence sources, LeT Cadre has given Rs.50, 000 to the boy for undertaking this task and also handed over some hand grenades and other ammunition to the youth.
After receiving the information, a massive search operation has been launched in the area to nab the Hindu youth. Some militants reportedly hiding in the area were also planning to hire some more Hindu youths for such attacks in the area because as they could easily enter the religious places and mingle with the yatries .
After booking this specific information, the security personnel in the area are reportedly in tension and are trying to identify the youth who have joined the militant ranks on money consideration. Sources said the intelligence input suggest that militants are picking the poor Hindu youths for their task and also give advance cash to the youths who are interested to work with them. Sources further revealed that the LeT cadres are starting uniting in different parts of the District Doda, especially in far off areas and making the strategies for appointment of new cadres and are also holding various meetings with each other. Militants have started regrouping themselves in the entire hilly areas of Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban districts and are framing the further course of action.
The reports suggest that the ultras are making every bid to communalize the situation in these districts. Sources said that their mentors across the border are reported to have given clear directions to their cadre active in the state to hire more and more Hindu youth for grenades attacks on Hindu religious places. Source said that some militants have been seen in upper reaches of district Doda during the Friday prayers in various Mosques. Sources said that only the LET cadres is active in this area while the HM outfit which had a strong hold in the district in the recent past are a dejected lot and want to surrender because of lack of resources and other logistics from their mentors from across.
