| BJP asks Azad to tender apology | | | Jammu, Aug 10 : In the wake of arrest of five militants allegedly involved in series of grenade attacks on Bhartiya Janta Party rallies at Doda, spokesman of state Bhartiya Janta Party Prof Hari Om has asked the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad to tender apology for his statement that the party activists were themselves involved in the attacks. ``The Chief Minister must come out with an explanation over the arrest of accused militants by his own police or tender an apology to BJP for his irresponsible statement,’’ Prof Hari Om said while talking to media persons at the party headquarters, here today. It may be recalled that few days back State Police claimed to solve the grenade attacks in Doda with the arrest of five militants. Charging the Congress-led coalition government with failure on all fronts, the BJP leader claimed that the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad was frustrated over his incompetence to tackle the situation arising out due to non-cooperation of ruling partners and his weak policies. |
