| Police arrest main accused in auto driver’s murder | | |

Police today arrested main accused who was allegedly involved in murder of an auto driver in Sidhra. After specific information; a police party under the supervision of DSP Hqr. Mehmood Ahmed led by SI Arjun Singh Chib nabbed him from his hideout. According to reports, the main accused Narinder Singh alias Mannu son of Kuldeep Singh resident of Panjtirhi disclosed in front of police that he had some old dispute with Anil Kumar son of Des Raj, resident of Kachhi Chhawni and he made a plan to murder him. He told that according to the plan one of his friends would hire his auto to Bajalta and he along with his another friend chased him. When auto reached at a lonely place in Sidhra, the passenger in the auto stopped the auto and stabbed him. After leaving him under the pool of blood they fled from the spot. Police is investigating the matter and also searching his associate who is still absconding.
