| 2 arrested for black-marketing diesel petrol | | |

Handwara Police today claimed to have arrested two persons for dumping and black marketing petrol and diesel from Kralgund area.
Official sources claimed that 765 Liters of illegal Diesel and Petrol was seized from the arrested persons
Sources quoting SP Handwara, told News Agency of Kashmir that on specific information a team led by DY SP DAR DPL raided the house Mohammed Sultan Lone, and arrested his sons of Farooq Ahmed Lone and Ghulam Mohamed Lone, illegal dumping and black marketing of Diesel and Petrol in the area.
Sources said that a Case FIR No: 54/2007 Under Section 3/7 of essential Commodities act and 3/13 of Petroleum Act has been registered at Police station Kralgund in this regard. Police is also trying to ascertain the source from where the fuel was procured.
