| Restore early water supply to affected areas: Sawahney. | | |

MLA, Yogesh Sawhney and Mayor Jammu Narinder Singh Jamwal convened a meeting of UEED and PHE officers and discussed various issues with regard to recent rains, due to which resident of Jammu east assembly constituency were affected.
In the meeting MLA issued on spot instruction to UEED officials that the re-alignment of nullahas be completed on war footing, so that people are not put to any trouble in near feature. Sawhney along with Mayor and corporator W. No.19. Lalita Sharma visited Chand Nagar area and gave assurance to the residents of the area that the affected people will be given relief for their losses.
They gave instruction and directed DPS management for retaining wall that collapsed due to heavy rains and damaged some houses in Christian colony.
