| VO produces challan in fraud land mutation | | |
Srinagar Aug, 10, – Vigilance Organization Kashmir today produced challan against Patwari Shafiq Ahmad and his associates to whom he had favored in convenience with other revenue officials by effecting mutation of 1 Kannal 8 Marlas land under Kharsa No 2428/429 at Guptganga Nishat Srinagar.
The land originally belonged to one Syed Baqir Hussain who had expired in 1982. The owner was shown alive on the day of mutation by impersonation and some other person was shown to be Syed Baqir Hussain during the mutation proceedings. The accused were present in the Court at the time of production of Challan. The persons includes Mohd Akbar S/O Ghulam Hassan Want R/O Guptganga Srinagar, Abdul Rashid Najar S/O Ali Mohammad Najar R/O Guptganga Nishat, Ghulam Ahmad Pandit S/O Ghulam Hassan Pandit Lashkar Mohalla Nishat, and B. A. Dar S/O Ghulam Rasool R/O Guptganga Nishat. |
