| Azad wins kudos from Congress leaders for his tirade against corruption | | | Jammu July 10 J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has hailed the directives of the chief minister Gulam Nabi Azad to the anti corruption investigation agencies to proceed against the corrupt politicians and officials in order to effectively combat against the menace of corruption. In a joint statement the senior leaders welcoming the observations from the chief minister Azad who in conference of vigilance officers underlined the absolute need to precede against the public representatives also in order to make the anti corruption drive more meaningful and result oriented. “Particularly this is the need to cleanse the public life, the signatories said. Signatories also assured their fullest support and cooperation of the party men in chief minister’s crusade against corruption, and urged the CM to proceed against anyone who is found involved in corrupt practices and also sought clearance of the cases in which instigations have been completed. The congress leadership also agreed with the opinion of the Chief minister that taking advantage of abnormal situation some politicians and officials have taken advantage of abnormal during past several years and siphoned of the public money without any accountability. At the same time they demanded appreciation for honest and men of integrity in the administration needs to be encouraged as assured by chief minister the statement said.
