| Shopkeeper arrested with illegal diesel | | | Jammu | July 10 Domana police today arrested one shopkeeper at Keran area when he was busy in the sale of diesel and kerosene oil in the area. According to reports today police received a specific information of supply of diesel in black market , a police team led by SHO Domana Gian Chand Sharma under the direction of SP Rural Shakti Pathak swung into action and raided on spot where police arrested the shopkeeper namely Bishan Kumar alias Pritam son of Keshaw resident of Gura Slathia at present Keran and recovered 150 liters of diesel and some quantity of Kerosene oil from his shop. Sources said during interrogation he told police that he purchased the diesel from some army personnel on very low rates and after mixing kerosene oil, he supplied it to the drivers on some high rates and he was active in the area for last many years. Police has also registered a case under section 3/7 Essential Commodities Act (ECA) and is investigating the matter. Sources said police is also keeping a close vigil on army personnel indulging in illicit trade of diesel in the area,
