| Woman among three arrested under Excise Act | | |
Jammu | July 10
Police arrested three persons including a woman under Excise Act. According to reports, on specific information, a raid was conducted by Arnia police under the direct supervision of SSP Border and SDPO RS Pura at Chak Tara. During the raid, a lady namely Toshi Devi wife of Joginder Lal resident of Chak Tara was arrested and 20 frooties (local made liquor) was recovered from her possession. A case FIR No. 49/07 u/s 48 (F) Excise Act has been registered against her.
Meanwhile, during excise raid conducted by RS Pura police two persons namely Rakesh Kumar son of Bhagwan Dass resident of RS Pura and Makhan Lal son of Ram Chand resident of Rajpura Mangotrian were booked under 50-A Excise Act
