| Doda Police seizes illicit liquor, arrests four | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

In continuation to its drive against bootleggers/drug peddlers, Doda Police, on a reliable tip off, arrested four persons involved in manufacture, possession and sale of illicit liquor with 200 ltrs of illicit liquor, disclosed a press release here.
In addition to distilling apparatus apprehended, 1000 ltrs of Lahan were seized and destroyed by police, the note said.
The Police arrested four persons viz. Devraj (Teacher HSS Thathri) S/O Duni Chand R/O Thakraie, A/P Wasser Kuleed, Muni Devi W/O Dev Raj, Shambu Nath S/O Amar Chand and Tesi Sumo W/O Shambu Nath all residents of Wasser Kuleed and registered a case under FIR NO. 178/2006 U/S 48 Excise Act at P/S Kishtwar and investigations are on, the note added.
