| Shaheed Pritam remembered his 5th Martyrs day. | | |

The Fifth Martyrs day of sepoy Pritam Lal, who laid down his life in defending the borders of Country at Totagoli – Poonch was observed at his native village Kotli. Pritam of 14 Raj Riffle laid down his life at Totegali – Poonch July 11, 2002 in a counter-insurgency operation.
Colonel, R.P. Singh of 14 Raj Riffle was the Chief Guest on the occasion. While paying tributes to late pritam Lal Kolonal R.P. Singh said, those who lay their life for the motherland are always remembered. He said the sacrifice made Sep Pritam will be remembered forever. He further said though this loss cannot be compensated yet we feel proud that he laid down his life like other great hero or the Motherland. Lauding the role of security forces and police, Singh said that their performance in countering militants and defending our territory has no parallel and would be remember for long.
