| JKAACL presents ‘Andher Nagri’ | | |

As a part of month long children summer workshop which was organized by NZCC. Patiala in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir, Academy of art, culture and languages, today the play ‘Andher Nagri’ was staged here.
The Hindi play ‘Andher Nagri’ by Bhartendu Harish Chander and directed by Sudhir Mahajan who is in charge of Drama and Painting workshop. The Chief Guest of the function was Rita Jitendra Former secretary J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, which the function was presided over by special officer J&K Cultural Academy Shamima Akhter.
Earlier before the starting of play Rita Jitendra in her welcome address appreciated the cultural Academy for organizing such type of children workshops during the summer vacations and also added that through these workshops the budding artists future generation would be morally boosted. She further added that participating children in these workshops also be able to display their talent in a professional way.
On this occasion a painting exhibition by children was also inaugurated by the chief guest ‘Rita Jitendra’.
