7/13/2007 12:05:22 PM

DODA, July 12- Senior JKPCC leader Advocate Naresh Gupta has described the propagation of troop’s withdrawal concept as providing germination ground to violence mangers and anti-people elements. Floating the slogans of troop reduction appears just a political gimmick with an eye on elections, he added.
Gupta addressing public gatherings in different areas of the district including Gandoh , Khara , Benain , Bhalla , Pranoo , Assar , Gathi , Khelani and Kastigarh today, said Congress leadership has never been averse to the idea of troops cut in internal front , however he said this completely depends on ground reality. Gupta said those living in security cover should not endanger the society by raising slogans like troops withdrawal just to play to the galleries.
Ridiculing the baseless criticism unleashed by some political leaders against Congress, Gupta described it as a sheer frustration and a pre-occupied mindset. In fact, Azad pulled the State out of morass, distress and desperation and laid strong edifice for Khushal J&K. Azad’s nineteen months rule has beaten the records of 60 years, created a history and repaired the damages done by the earlier regimes, Gupta said.
He said Azad never believes in political gimmickry nor indulges in exploitation of sentiments or raising hallows slogans for cheap publicity. Azad is clean man and his politics is based on truth and public detectors, Gupta said.
Naresh said that various deputations met him and apprised him about the inefficiency of the district administration and alleged that some officers were working against the public interest.
Those who accompanied the Naresh Gupta during tour included Saleem Malik, Naveen Kotwal and Suresh Kumar.
