| ‘Navapachchi’ foot suspension bridge thrown open | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | AUGUST 10 Marau River at accost of Rs. 70.29 lacs. With the construction of the footbridge people of the Marwah Valley in Kishtwar area are now in position to visit Navapachchi village to meet their basic needs. Earlier, people of Marwah used to take and ardous journey of about 15 kms to come to Navapachchi village, the hub center Marwah tehsil. There are approximately 10,000 inhabitants spread over 40 kms radius across river Marau. The construction of bridge commenced in February 2005 was completed in July 2006 the people of the area have hailed the construction for suspension bridge by the Rashtriya Rifles. Army has undertaken various development projects for the people of the area.
