| PNB distribute Rs. 8 crores under Utsav-Abhilasha scheme. | | |

‘Utsav-Abhilasha’ organized by Punjab National Bank (PNB) was inaugurated by R&B Minister Gulchain Singh Charak here today. In the function loans worth Rs. 8 crore were distributed on spot.
While, addressing the gathering Charak appreciated the PNB management in conducting such functions for the benefit of common people. He asked the PNB to hold more such camps throughout the state , so that people living in far off place get benefited by three schemes.
Earlier, Zonal Manager PNB, North Zone Vivek Arya in his welcome address said this was the 14th function in this series. He said through the function PNB propose to distribute fresh loan to the tune of Rs.400 crores during the year 2007-08
He also said , PNB has launched a special education loan drive in the J&K state know as BLESS with a proposed coverage of 400 needy students.
Among other present on the occasion were Director, Radio Kashmir, Jammu, Dr. K.C. Dubey and Chief Manager PNB Rehari M.L. Mir.
