R.S.PURA | JUNE 30
A protest demonstration was staged by the retired employees under the leadership of National Conference leader Sardar Taranjeet Singh Toni, against their with held pension by Social Welfare Department and raised slogans against the director of Social Welfare.
While addressing the gathering Taranjeet said that the coalition government is not functioning in the favour of common-masses. Coming down heavily on Ghulam Nabi Azad, Taranjeet criticized him for corruption. He said that Azad government has enhanced the level of corruption in the state.
He said that goverernment has abonded the monthly pension of those who belong to lower income bracket. He further said that CMO office, Jammu does not issue medical certificates to job-seeker for month and keeps on to defer. So he appealed to that such certificates must be issued by R.S.Pura hospital itself.
On this occasion a memorandum was submitted to R.S.Pura Tehsildar Gulam Nabi Meenia.
