Rotary Club International Governor SPS Grover at a function held at Hotel Asia here today appointed Rtn. Gurdeep Singh as President Rotary Club, Jammu Tawi for the year 2007-2008.
Immediately after being appointed as Governor, Singh announced a new team of the Club, with Dushyant Choudhary as vice president, Mahata Deep Singh as secretary, Pran Shanker Singh as its secretary, Joginder Abrol as treasurer. He also appointed Harish Gulati, A.S. Modi, R.K. Chandan, Vijay Tondon and Harbans Singh as directors of the club.
Speaking on the occasion, he said various people oriented projects like water management; environment and pollution control, pulse-polio, AIDS control, child labour etc will be taken in hand.
On the occasion the out going president Jatinder Gandhok thanked his entire team for their cooperation, which was highly appreciated by the rotaries of district 3070.
